These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ConvoReel, including our website, studio, AI video agent, and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you agree on its behalf and confirm you have authority to do so.
1. Who can use ConvoReel
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if higher, to use the Service. You must give accurate information when you sign up and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
2. The Service
ConvoReel is an AI video agent. You describe a video in chat, and the agent researches, writes, builds scenes, adds narration and subtitles, and renders a video file. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or similar to output created for others. Review every video before you publish it, especially facts, figures, names, and claims.
We may add, change, or remove features. If we make a change that materially reduces what a paid plan includes, we will tell you in advance.
3. Your content
Inputs are what you give the Service: prompts, messages, uploaded files such as logos, images and audio, brand kits, and instructions. Outputs are what the Service makes for you: scripts, scenes, narration, project files, and rendered videos.
- You own your Inputs and, as between you and us, your Outputs. We do not claim ownership of either.
- You give us a limited licence to host, process, transmit and display your Inputs and Outputs only to run, secure and improve the Service for you, and as described in our Privacy Policy.
- We do not use your Inputs or Outputs to train AI models.
- You confirm that you have the rights needed for your Inputs, and that your use of the Service and your Outputs will not infringe anyone's rights or break the law.
Commercial use
Free-plan videos are for personal and evaluation use, export at up to 720p and carry a ConvoReel watermark; do not remove it. Paid plans include a commercial licence, which lets you use your Outputs for business purposes, including advertising and client work.
Third-party material
To build a video, the agent may use third-party material such as stock photos and footage, icons, fonts, music, or facts quoted from web sources. That material stays under its own licence. You are responsible for checking that your final use complies with those licences and gives attribution where required.
4. Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may remove content, refuse a request, or suspend an account that breaks it.
5. Plans, credits and payment
- The Service runs on credits. Research, generation, narration and rendering use credits as shown in the product. Credits with the nearest expiry are used first.
- The Free plan includes a one-time grant of 600 credits.
- Paid plans are monthly or annual subscriptions. They renew automatically at the then-current price until you cancel.
- Monthly plans add their credits at the start of each billing period; unused plan credits stay available for one more month and then expire.
- Annual plans add twelve months of credits at the start of each billing year; unused plan credits expire one month after that year ends.
- Top-up packs are one-time purchases; purchased credits remain available for 12 months. Pro subscribers get 10% off top-up packs.
- Asset libraries are included with paid plans within the storage shown on the pricing page. If your plan ends, your library files are kept: you can still download or delete them, but they are not available to new videos until you subscribe again.
- Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and cannot be exchanged for money except as set out in our Refund Policy.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices exclude taxes unless stated; you are responsible for applicable taxes.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. Changes apply from your next billing period.
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account. You keep access to paid features until the end of the current billing period.
6. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, templates, styles and branding, belongs to ConvoReel and its licensors. These Terms do not give you any right to our trademarks or to copy, resell, or reverse engineer the Service, except where the law does not allow this restriction.
7. Feedback
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without obligation to you.
8. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to support@convoreel.com.
We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if your use creates risk for us or others. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. When your account ends, we delete your content as described in our Privacy Policy. Export anything you want to keep beforehand.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that Outputs will be accurate, unique, or fit for your purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, ConvoReel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 100.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Indemnity
If you use the Service for business, you will defend and indemnify ConvoReel against third-party claims arising from your Inputs, your Outputs as you use them, or your breach of these Terms.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or in the product at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the new Terms.
13. General
These Terms, together with the policies they link to, are the entire agreement between you and ConvoReel about the Service. If any part is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
